[R]ising oil prices are... an invitation to corn and coal and hydrogen. For anyone with a fresh idea, expensive oil is as good as a subsidy.
While I approve any "cleaner" (less CFCs) energy sources, I really hope we can find a way to limit our trash output. Using things like corn/used cooking oil seems to fill a duel purpose that nuclear/coal/hydrogen energy does not fill.
